did you prime the fuel filter as per the owners manual before starting.??And also ensure that the connector is secure.
I'm busy servicing my Td5 Disco for the first time, have changed the oil, oil filter, centrifuge element(think thats what i is called??), diesel filter/sedimenter. On restarting i'm now getting a warning light on the dash for "excessive water" in the fuel.
I did'nt have this problem prior to servicing. Could excessive air in the fuel lines also cause this? Any other ideas?
Am now off to do the rest of the oils, thanks for your help
Cheers, Phill

Yep, primed the filter, i played around with the drain on the bottom of the filter and i seem to have resolved the problem, think i may have overtightened it, would this earth the switch and trigger the warning light?
Does yours have a water switch on the bottom of the fuel filter? Not all of them do... I have seen the water light on with no switch fitted.
