						Hi Sumo,
Sorry, I'd not heard it called a "pistol" gasket before. Did my second one at Easter this year on way from Tassie to Qld. The original paper one went at 125K km in 2003, the new one at 235K km. Thought the new type would have lasted longer but a water pump was fitted at 180K, so that may have upset the P-gasket at the time.
The newer rubber-coated metal gasket is part no. PET100790. The bolts are: FC108247 (3-off) and FC108247 (1-off). These are proper galvanised bolts, rather than the original passivated types which rust so badly. I'd recommend them over ordinary bright steel bolts - they're cheap enough. I also give the whole bolt a good coating of Neverseize; the shank as well as the threads.
Langy's link is very good but I didn't need to unbolt the PS pump, just remove it's pulley to access all the bolts. Suggest cracking the PS pulley bolts loose before removing the serpentine belt to avoid hassles trying to hold the pulley still. [But those small-headed flanged bolts are a pain and you still might stuff one or more. The PS pulley ones are FS108127L - "Screw PAS pulley to pump (M8x12)".] Again, reassemble with lots of Neverseize
