    Why does my Wabco tick

    I can hear my Wabco ABS unit (D2 1999 model) constantly ticking, even with the ignition off and the keys removed. Should it do this ? If so why,

    Good question. So does mine. Also a 1999 D2 (TD5). Always wondered about this...

    So does my 2001 td5. the dealers said its normal. You mean the kinda zoink zoink zoink noise.

    Funny you say this, I didn't notice the ticking in mine until I had my battery disconnected for half a day & wired in an airhorn & a new 'accessory' wiring loom from the engine bay to behind the window switches. When I reconnected, zoink, zoink, zoink (tick, tick, tick). I thought, what the hell have i done Is something going to fry in a minute
