Dave, do you have any pics of the D2??? I looked at getting a supercharger added to my D2 earlier this year but other than the incredible cost they could not fit it without major bonnet mods.

lol driving a car in Victoria in summer without an air conditioner you will regret it
people think Melbourne doesnt get hot in summer they are dreaming
l live in Perth since 2003 and they still rabbit on like Melbourne in the Artic compared to Perth, l don't see much real difference in temperature except Perth has very strong bright sun light compared to Melbourne
I would not remove air conditioning for a super charger
I guess so.. you either love LPG or hate it..same with superchargersQuote:
Depends on who's thoughts you want to listen to
Prolly best to talk to someone who knows supercharging with LPG aye

Well, RPI Engineering in UK do not like Eatons on Rover V8s.
They claim the fuel distribution is all wrong and it causes premature failure. Have a look on their site.
They may have a point, looking at the setup that uses the bottom bit of the injection manifold.
I reckon you could cut up an old carby manifold and it would work, but it would be a lot of (expensive) work, especially if you had to fit bosses for injectors.
I have investigated fitting a Gen 111. It is pretty easy but expensive AFAIK. The Chev small block trans and engine mount adaptors fit, plus an adaptor from GEN111 to small block engine mounts.
It will be expensive to get a rear sump and the correct exhausts from the states, as the commodore is front sump, and you cannot cut and shut as it is fibre reinforced aluminium.
The BIG cost is in making a ZF live . Apparently a mob in Melbourne will do it for about 8K. I got this second hand from Bruce Davis Via a friend who had him build a 5 litre and had a lesser (3K) upgrade.

Some great insights - reckon that I'll stick with the current set up, as it's cost me the least out of any LR I have had over the last 6 months.
Im reference to the climate, I was really looking at a 6 mnth swap out - aircon in summer / S/c in the winter, and repeat.
The 4.6 conversion was in the order of the $8K mark and only had 10,000 rebuilt k's on it.
Love it. Will stick with it.
