Temporary loss of power on TD5

Following on from my last post - when the loss of power occurred, there were no lights on the dash that illuminated. Everything appeared normal. Temperature was around half way as usual.
I did notice some steam from the exhaust when I pulled over.

    Any more clues.

    Loss of power from TD5

I have had intermittent problems. Could be from a bit of dodgy fuel. If some water made it through the injectors, might be reason for steam. Am not sure, as I don't know that much about engines. My loss of power problems went away when I changed to name brand fuel outlets.
Had a air filter that was blocked with dust once, and it resulted in low power output. Might be worth a check, as it is easy to clean out.

    Good Luck,

    Ken

    maybe..

..it wasn't steam? Have you checked the turbo pipes? Could have been unburnt fuel?
