Vehicle: 1990 RRC 3.9 auto dual fuel.

Problem 0: Vehicle is in Naracoorte, I'm in Melbourne! (#1 son's car)
Problem 1: Starts easily and properly when cold. When hot, refuses to start. Can, eventually, be jump started.
Problem 2: Runs well on gas, but on petrol, runs to 2200-ish rpm, so about 105 kph. Foot down to pass - won't get up and boogie until it's pulled into 3rd gear.

History: It's been tuned to run on gas, so 9 deg BTDC or so. New leads, plugs, cam, dist cap. When I handed it over, it was OK!

Nothing done so far - just going to gather as many hints and possible solutions as we can for solving problems 1 and 2 at very long arm's length. Daughter-in-law needs the thing to be more reliable and these are faults I have not encountered in more than 25 years of RR.

Can the collective wisdom help?

TIA

Pete
