Do you have a concrete driveway and carport / garage that the job can be done in?

or does the car need to be done else where?

Have you bought the clutch, or do you want that supplied as part of the deal?

I know a very good mobile mechanic in Wantirna that may do it. He does preffer to stick to auto electrical, but he is a mechanic too.

I'll call him this morning and pm you his details if he's available.

    Clutch

    Good day Hiline,
Try FWD Motors. 9318-0356. Talk to Winston, or Pat. They supplied my last clutch for my D1. Got it very reasonably priced. They are on this side of the West gate bridge, but might be worth the drive. I can probably deliver parts to your side of town if needed.

    Good luck,

    Ken

    Hiline,
I reckon they have quoted on a clutch and flywheel, as the flywheel is big$$$ about $1200 or more from memory. The clutch kit if bought genuine from LR is over $1300, and the labour will just nicely round it out to $3500...

Try all 4x4 spares in Newcastle or British 4x4 for a flywheel and clutch kit price, I would suggest you are going to need the flywheel as the original can't be machined, and as it is slipping already it could be too late....

    Good luck,

    JC
