It was for an XP that I had the speedo converted to electronic by ringwood speedos and I remember it cost a bloody fortune and I never finished the project and a little turd smashed all the windows in it and then it got attact by rats and filled with water after the roof on the shed fell in.

I was never meant to finish that car as any time I spent a little money on it something happened that cost me twice as much.

All this was so I could put a EB Falcon (or the Fairlane equivelent) 5.0 V8 in it with the 5 speed trans but never got that far.

Mine was just a sedan but it would have been a great car if Id got it up and going.

I always wanted an XP delivery but they are rare as so I doubt I will ever get one.

It all depends on what box its for, 4L60 or 4L60e(t700 or t700 electronic) or later 4L60E (like in ya jag(gen3)), if somone does it for the later one, i'll be very interested

Yea slightly different output housing, 5 bolts not 4, but the spud shaft is the big dilemma, so if they're the same the housing should be a piece of ****

What I have done with my jag, is send the speedo of to howardinstruments.com to get a new electonic VDO speedo built into the smiths gauge....unfortunetally its nearly been a month now (and i'm only waiting on that before i can tune it)when they said 2 weeks, but ask me shortly and i'll let you know how well it goes......by the way, its a shade under 500 where an X-box is like 850 and you still have that crappy smiths bounce
Howard instruments made my electonic speed sensor. and corrected the speedo on my RR.

top guys know what they are doing.

    Michael.
