    OME spring designation

Just picked up my OME springs and noticed they are sided and marked A and B. A is taller by approx. 12mm. Can anyone confirm that the longer coil, A goes on the drivers side?

Sure does... Its to offset the constant that is the driver / battery etc...

BTW is this a Defender or Disco 1?

If so you can fit the springs without a spring compressor! its easy... Sub 1 hour to do the lot!

My OME's been fitted just over twelve months and intitally got about 3.5 inch lift at the front and 2.5' at the rear, but now it's settled to around 3'. Still have some driveline vibrations though which need to be looked at.

I got a TJM lift in its as stiff as B**ggery and has sagged from 50mm down to 35mm in the front.

I want to change it out for an ARB possibly but do they have different heights you can pick - or is it just one spec and you get what you get ?

They have different compression rated springs, usually light duty, light to medium duty, medium duty, heavy duty and so on.

I did have the specs somewhere but they escape me right at this moment.
