    D2 Auto Question

OK those of you with a Disco TD5 Auto. Are your engines a rear sump? I have had to drop my sump to get at the torque converter bolts. Had me thinking why can't it be like a normal Auto with the removable cover plate.

Drop sump to access convertor bolts?? What sump, engine or trans? We don't take any sump off to access the bolts. There is a little cover on the bottom of the bellhousing (round, 3 bolts) that when removed gives just enough room to remove / refit the bolts.

That access hole is . Spent 3 hours on sunday to loose the washers and one bolt in there. Droped the engine sump and all 3 done in under an hour

The joys of a hoist. All three bolts in takes about 15 minutes tops...
