Anyone in the Canberra area have a welder? Need a quick weld done.

I will try a temp repair with that fuel tank repair stuff. But I will need to weld it sometime.

Just a stick welder do or are you welding sheet?

Trying to fix a small crack in the gearbox sump so tin plate. The patch has mostly fixed it. Will finish it off today.

Try Brazing it, it wont become brittle like stick welding it, Regards Frank.
