    Winch Cable Guide ??

Hey guys, i'm fitting a winch to my disco in a week or so and wanted to know if i can get a fairled plate (not roller) for steel cable, like what they use for plasma/dynamica rope ?

Why would you?! Most fairly leads are aluminium and will just get scratched up and damaged. Stick with a roller unless your going for winch rope.

Yeh you can - I own one.

Mine is the Warn brand - and is designed for cable.

It is cast iron - not alloy

    Cheers.

Hmm...doesnt sound like a good idea to me. But hey...if it works.

I used winch rope with a aluminium fairlead.

They are about $80 or so bucks from warn - but I got mine with the bar I bought.

Ring Ateco Equipment (Aus importers of Warn)

    Cheers
