    Oil in the wiring loom?

I had this prob. Not hard to check. Disconect the battery. Take off the engine acoustic cover and on the drivers side front of the head a round black plug goes into the rocker cover from underneath. Depress the tabs on it and pull it out, looking for oil inside.
Or look at the ecu end.
Mine had oil running out of the ecu end and down the front inner wheel arch before I traced it!
If it's there you must replace the injector harness under the rocker cover, and clean the plugs. Oil may continue to seep and mess them up so be prepared to do it again later!
