Try your local motor bike shop or panel beater. They'll have contacts.

Try Q-Bond - available at Bursons, about $20, very good product.

It's like a sand & superglue mix. You get 2 bottles, one for plastics and one for metals. You apply the the sand over the crack, put a couple of drops of the superglue on and it hardens in seconds.

    Hi Dobbo
You can do it with a soldering iron/heat gun and the plastic 4mm retic risers from the garden. If you are going to replace it with steel anyway, have a go,its quite effective.
I have a complete plastic bumper in my shed, you are welcome to it,problem is it will cost you a fortune in freight!!!!

what he said.......its great stuff.......and works fantastic......
never met bursons......but repco...auto one....etc sell it as well.......

    alternatively......you could also use sikaflex.........
you can even use this to glue steel plates to the inside of the rest of the bar for reinforcement........

Q-bond is a very quick repair.......
