Advice needed ASAP on Injector harness

I found out on Friday my Td5 has issues with teh injector harness, Ie Oil infiltration, common problem.Land Rover Toowoomba have suggested seeing that the problem has just started, it will alright to drive the 2 hour trip, to get fixed and serviced.

The car is expressing a chug type idle and is like a slight shunt when at hiway speed.
L/R suggested not to push it hard and take it gently.

No lights on dash, but want some advice from you guys.

    Can you help.?????

A quick fix for you is to unplug the cable at the ecu and spray some electrical cleaner this may give you some short term relief for the drive to the repairer

I'm a tdi owner so I have not exprienced your problem, other will have a more detailed response

yes.....cleaning out the oil from the ecu connector will get you up and running again......

till it oils up again.........the correct fix is a new upgraded harness......
cant help with part numbers or prices......but im sure others will be along soon to tell.......

its a common problem on the early Td5s.......

If you can source the bits I'll lay on spanner time to square it then clean out the old harness so theres a postable spare in the general area. (youd retain ownership of the old harness unless you dont want it).

as precusor to it going pear shaped pm me and I'll send you my contact details, we can organise a cartrailer in advance and if it goes wrong call me and I'll trailer you to where you need to be.

    Im in ipswich.
