bugger!
hope you get to the other end of it with your cheque book somewhat intact.
Having dropped the Defender up to MR's to get the clutch done I returned home later to find the Rangie on the bump stops.
Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Luckily I have an Airbag Man emergency kit fitted (finally paid for itself though I WAS hoping I'd never need it) so I locked the EAS out and pumped up with a compressor so at least I can drive around.
So far (hours later) no evident change in corner height so I assume noe of the air springs is rooted.
When it wasn't working (ie EAS as normal but on bump stops) the compressor was running continuously, but without effect.
This leaves me wondering...
ANyoen with experience of same I;d be VERY happy to hear.
- Valve block ?
- Air hose detached somewhere (can't hear any hissing).
- Computer fault of some sort ?
(Note it had a reconditioned valve block put in a few years back since which it has been giving me no trouble... until now)
HELP !!!!
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I think the members of AULRO should consider a customer buyout of that business.

if its not venting air anywhere when the compressor is running the reed valves in the compressor are probabley shot.
the compressor will run flat out and not do much, If it sounds like its developing pressure (working hard) then its a blocked valve.

If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
if you can stick it at full height and go around with a spray bottle of soapy water this will show leaks as some bad air leaks you wont hear or maybe a few smaller leaks adding up, you will have to leave the soapy water on the air bellows for a few minutes to show up, it will get loads of tiny bubles if theres a leak bad enough to drop one corner over night hope you fix it ok, its a great system when working well one of the best onroad i reckon!!![]()

Did it hold its height overnight ?
If so, you would be correct in saying the airbags and the air lines into them are all OK.
This means air is escaping from either the tank, compressor or valve block. If the valve block is reconditioned it seems unlikely to be internally from that.
If it is the compressor that's good news. It is relatively inexpensive to get a compressor overhaul kit which replaces the piston and ring. You can also get them locally from airbag man.
