    Tuning an OMVL gas convertor

    Hi Guys
    Fitting a new OMVL gas convertor to the Rangie today,the old one leaks gas into the cooling system.
    Anyone tuned the convertor,any tips please.As far as I see there is 2 idle control screws,1 should be idle speed the other sensetivity.
    I will be able to copy the setiings from the one fitted.

    Which model?

    I have the set up instructions for the R90/E. While I'm looking for them maybe this would help:

    As an answer to: OMVL R90/E vaporiser written by Paul Sharp at 22 Jun 2004 01:29:20: Those two screws are for 'sensitivity' (the top screw) and mixture (with the spring on). I found that a good starting point is to set the sensitivity screw to 1 1/2 turns open from fully closed, and the mixture screw open 10 mm from the body of the housing to the underside of the screw head (this will be the spring adjusted length). As I say, this is just a starting point, you will then need to adjust the final settings along with your power valve setting on a gas anyliser. Good luck.
