Post ARB Air Locker Installation web site

Found this web site showing in good photographic detail the steps to install a rear ARB air locker in a Landie.

Did a search, don't think it's been posted on here before:

I take issue with step 27 but then I have a full workshop and the proper tools for the job.....

Dont do it like he does it in the pic, unless you also need to trim your nails and remove your finger prints for the upcoming ram raid that you fitted the locker for to make sure you could drive off if you hung it up on the window sill.

yep, step 27 is definatly a dumb thing to do, you don't grow fingers after they have been cut off.
and having now read all that, go into the ARB website and read their instructions, it is all there, with lots of other interesting tips, and there is one page that details the 'cap grinding' and why it may be necessary - it is a very good site.

the smart way to do it would be (assuming you had them) in a vice with a hand linisher in place of the grinder... Failing that then the grinder
