    which sealant?

    Am about to replace oils in both diffs with synthetic,,
    anybody reccommend a sealant to use with synthetic?

    I also use Hylomar on the fill and drain plugs, and really like Loctite 518 on a rigid flange.
    Used 518 on stub axles and Rock Crusher diff cover (Sals) and no leaks, although just used Blue Max (RTV silicone) on rear main and g/box front seal cover,a dn used Black Max 5.5 years ago as a sump gasket and it's only now weeping. (300Tdi sump gaskets are notorious for leaking)
