    TD5 flyWheel

Hi had a noise in the Td5 when the cluch was pressed in and when changing gear..Asked a few what they thought all said it was the spigget bush..ok not that bad.. the noise got worse and not a good sound in a caravan park with "other 4+4 people" watchin.. pulled the gear box out .. Not the spiggot bush..The td5 has a spring loaded inerflywheel and that was dry as ..Took the flywheel off oiled it with lanolin oil and silcon spray ..Left it over night to soke in ..Put it all back and seems to be ok ..Hope Ive done the right thing..Not the best job..Has anyone had this prob..?If it goes again is there a flywheel with out the iner works that can replace this one ..New one is around $1100.not fitted..the little lady has only done 130thou.
The other thing that happened was a hole in the radator hose ..it rubbed a hole from the power steering hose on the pass side..cut the bit out fitted a allum. bit..Had a look at a latter model and there is a plastic spreder fitted to keep them apart..was also told to change the spring loaded hose clips with screw type ..about to change the feul pressure thingo..any wise info would be listen to..Nice forum and a good lot of reading ..thanks Robert42

Can't comment on the flywheel but you have to keep a eye on that raditor top hose. Even with the seperator protector thing I have still had to replace my top hose on mine a couple of times. Another great design feature of the TD5.
