the problem will electrical faults is that everbody think it runs on electrons.

When you cut a hose with fluid in it what runs out? The fluid.

When somthing shorts out in an electrical cct what do you see leaking out?? Electrons?? Not on your nelly

Bloody smoke leaks out, that is why electrical problems are so expensive. Dickens of a time cathing the smoke and outting it back in.

what do you think sparkies drive beemers

    hehehe

I have the same problem ...exactly ...blows a 10A fuse ( I think Fuse no. 8) in the fuse panel under the steering wheel ...happens every couple of weeks on mine. the fuse seems to blow when I go over a big bump.
I guess there's a build fault in the wiring loom somewhere causing this problem for everyone.
    but I noticed yours is a D2 ( i think ) I have a D1
