225/75R16 does not necessarily mean 225/75R16

I have a set of 5 BFG ATs on my Disco in 225/75R16 size. I'm about to put a set of BFG MTs in 225/75R16 onto some RR rims, being a t1g4t4rs3 I assumed 4 would suffice and one of the ATs as a spare.

But my tyreman looked up the charts and the MT is 35mm larger than the AT in the same size. Will I get away with this or do I need to invest in a 5th...? (bearing in mind these are for occasional use)

If you want another surprise compare the measurements on the BFG website of their 225/70 16 and their 225/75 16 KO A/Ts.

    I have the 225/75 16 too.

If its a rare use tyre, dont bother, you have diffs for a reason. BUT they will be working if you run it often.
