You want an adjustable one so when they wear they can be tightened up as opposed to having to be replaced
OK, what do they do, how do you tell if they need replacing, and why would I want an adjustable one that most suppliers seem to offer in addition to the standard one?

The adjustable one (Maxi-drive) is also greasable. To me this made a lot of sense.
Mine was stuffed and siezed in it ended up having to be sweated out of the diff - never mind the pressing out of the A-frame bit. I also did the A-frame bushes at the same time.

Jeff, I did mine myself, You can get them off of L/R supplies like British 4wd cheap.
about 2 hours all up to change and the drive difference is amazing..worth doing anyway job..if you need a hand you can come up here or I to you..PM me either way..
I have a 12tonne pipe bender that can be modded to press out N in.
