    CAV DPA (2.25D) seal

    Hi guys,

Replaced all the seals (bar one) on my 2.25D injector pump last weekend, and as luck would have it - the one I missed needs doing as well.

So - how do you replace the o-ring immediately under the distributor section (steel cylinder at the very top)? I couldn't work out how to remove that section - my CAV manual is in perth...

Hi Isuzu (or should that be "Mr Rover"),

I see it was back in August that you asked the question, but if it's not too late now...

I was looking for a DPA manual (for a neighbour's MF35 tractor!) and found this site (by a German LR nut): http://www.gottlob.org/109/technic/dpamanual.html where you can download a .zip file of a DPA manual for a London taxi. Should have the info you need.

Ain't the Internet a wonderful thing at times?

Thanks Leo. I have a manual, and have looked through it, but am still not 100% clear. It seems you need to remove the 2-3 radially-spaced bolts to remove the top section... Can anyone confirm?
