    I would like to ask the same for a 93 D1 200tdi.
My rule of thumb is that when the light comes on, I drive for another 100kms, and then generally put in 66/67ltrs.
This would suggest that my warning light comes on very early.
    BTW - what is the fuel capacity of a 93 D1 200tdi? I guess approx 80ltrs?

According to my book, the 300tdi should have an 88 litre tank. I can generally get around 80 litres in after my light comes on....

our bomadore has km till empty and the wife drives it till I swear the car runs on fumes Ive told the wife that being a british car that when the light comes on she has 10km till she run out and becomes stranded so that she re fuels so she doesnt do the same as she does on her bomadore hehehehehehe

My owners manual says 9 ltr but my light comes on at around 73 ltrs used and the v8 has an 88 litre tank. Mind you I haven't pushed it too far after the light comes on

Wouldn't stress too much, i usually get 80-100kms once the light is on. I work on the theory, if the light doesn't come on for a few minutes when I start, then I'll think about filling up soon. If its on straight away i'll head for the servo. My record is 92 litres, that was running on vapours.
