Thread: Chassis/front end comparo Disco2 vs Disco1 and RRC

Im wondering who can actually tell me about the differences between the front ends/chassis of the three cars in regards to bullbars and mountings etc, so comparing all models with srs airbags, i know that the series 1 discos and rrc's you can interchange the bullbars, what i want to know is exactly how much did they change on the disco2, i take it the front is a slightly different shape due to the redisigned lights/grille etc, and i undersatnd the chassis on disco2 are different from disco1

The reason i ask this it i want to customise a arb sahara bar to fit my RRC, but theyre only available for disco2's, and am thinking the disco2 bar will be the easiest to modify to fit, but how much modifieing will have to do. Im also customising an arb rear bar from most likey and 80ser to fit aswell

any help would be greatly appreciated.

D2 is nothing like the D1. As far as I know almost all measurments are different and a D1 bar will not fit.
