Thread: Aftermarket seatbelts for a classic

Hi all

the seats on the 81 have hit there used by date and we are installing aftermarket seats.

Has anyone installed retractable seatbelts into a classic and can offer any hints/tips/easy ways to do this cheaply and safely?

Have seen it done, they fit a long piece of steel with a captive nut on it up into the B pillar to bolt the belt anchor point to. Check your local authority on what is acceptable or a local engineer.
