theres another good error in his logical model but I already mentioned it as gearing being eliminated but by logical expansion

using his speed =distance/time formula and eliminting the gearing via the logic of the only factor is the Revs done

if the time and the speed give the same distance for engine A as it does for engine B then the engine has done the same number of revolutions soooooo

using that fact that the gearing hasnt changed the proposal of the only factor being the total revolutions done to cover the distance should reveal that IF engine A + engine b do the same number of revolutions that they use the same amount of fuel....

'Of' although it is really only encountered in Yr1-6.

Indices can be done at any time really, depending on the base (or what you change the base to!)

2+3^2 = 11 if you use a bimdas calculator (bomdas)

2+3^2= 25 If you dont

As I said, depends on the base. You can multiply or divide numbers with the the same base by adding or subtracting the indices.

2^3 x 2^6 = 2^9 = 512

or

2^3 / 2^6 = 2^-3 = 0.125

Hence doing M and D before I.

Sneaky, I still reckon thats covered by indicies as your just runing MDAS on the Indicies....
