A while ago, Jase had 1 left and wasnt bringing any more in as they arnt making them any more.

They were made in Brasil or something like that for a car thats not made anymore.

I think Jase can still get parts though so if you want more info contact him.

It's a development of the 300Tdi and was fitted to the South American Ford Ranger.

From what I've been told, the power comes from the turbo set up. So if you don't need a new engine, you can just get the manifold & turbo for around $2K and get the same output from your Tdi.

I've never driven one, or seen any figures, but that's what I've been told by someone who imported them and fitted the turbo to his 200Tdi.

I'm not sure if they have the bigger intercooler, but you may as well get one of those while you're at it.

If thats right, it would be nice to know where to get a turbo/manifold set.

email/PM Jase on here. He was bringing them in.

It's not just the turbo, it's 300cc bigger, forged instead of cast crank, revised pistons, better head including bigger ports and better cooling jackets, etc. but the VNT helps a lot too.

Not so much the top end power gain....have a look at the specs. It's makes it's near peak torque from just above idle and holds it right through the range. This plus gas for probably half the cost of any diesel V8's installed costs would be an interesting comparison.

Hurry up and get the Chevy installed - I'm dying to see one for real.
