Red face CDL in 2003 Disco

Can any of you learned people tell me the difference between the CDL in my Disco and Maxi Drive or ARB Lockers.
Is there any extra benefit in having either of these fitted with the CDL?
    Thanks Guys

your 4wd system has a total of 3 differentials.

one in the front axle, one in the rear and one in the transfer case (this is the centre one)

the centre diff lock in the disco locks the transfer case diff so that it drives both front and rear axles, the differential action at each wheel remains though.

ARB lockers go in the axle diffs to lock these too

    All of the above.
The question of whether or not there is any advantage in fitting front or rear (or both) lockers depends entirely on what you do, or are going to do with the vehicle.
If you plan on some light to medium off roading and/or some towing, then lockers will be of no benefit to you so find some other toys to spend all those $$$ on.
If on the other hand you intend getting it out there into truly "character building" country, the lockers will be a major plus.
    Hope that helps.
