    rebuild the county. Do the reverse of Mark 2 and drop a defender body on the county. There's a complete early defender on fleabay now. even at the buy it now price you could economically use the body and flog the rest.

    I just came across this old post & read through the replies.

    I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED!!

    No real regrets, I ended up dismantling the old girl, selling off nearly all the parts & using a lot for my rebuild.
    But a hell of a lot of time in the garage

    I guess it proves that this forum has a great depth of experience. So, next time BLKnight, JDNSW,RAR110,LRHYBRID100 & others say something, I promise, I'll listen..
