We had our D2 do the same a few months ago. It went off right before my eyes after the missus came back from shopping. We put it down to it being a really hot day.

A week or so after that it went off twice at night time in our carport.

It went in for a service soon after and the computer showed 3 activations of the interior sensor.

It has not gone off since so we don't know what the problem was.

There were paw marks on the bonnet from a cat so maybe that did it .

Yes having pussy on the bonnet will do it

    ..........no seriously

The only time I have had this problem was when the window was slightly open - and the air movement caused a piece of paper to move around and set it off.

The is a way - buggered if I can think what it is - to set the alarm - but with having the movement sensors disabled - handy when the dogs in the car etc.,

I have also left a window open and the air movement set the alarm off.
You would probably find a moth or a big fly could also set the alarm off ?.
I must say it also took me awhile to learn to lock the Disco with the key not the button when I still have the dogs inside.

    Pesky insects

Make sure there are no insects inside the vehicle. One night our alarm kept going off (car was in a garage). Turns out it was a moth flying around inside the vehicle setting off the sensors. Problem was when I went out to turn off the larm and check the vehicle, the moth would "go to ground". Took a couple of goes before I cought the moth "in flight" and worked out what was going on.

Most likely something fly/bug inside the vehicle moving across the interior motion sensor. If the window is left open marginally this can also set off the alarm.
If u do want to lock the vehicle & not have the alarm go off, then lock the vehicle with the key in the door. This will disarm the motion sensors & arm the immobilisor.

    G'day Ladas,
If you use your key to lock the vehicle, not the remote, then the internal sensors are not activated.
