    1991 Def90 - Side bar

    Hi Guys

I'm driving a `91 Def90 and planning to fit a pair of side bar for body protection during offroading. Could anybody provide me some information on how to and where to put bracket for the side bar. I'm aiming to fit the side bar similar to above link.

    thanks

I'm not sure where you would buy them off the shelf esp for a 90

If you are looking for ideas have a look in projects as I knocked a couple up for a 110

Wel there 2 a penny in the Uk . Most off road 90's have them
Used to be £90 for 90 and £110 for 110 ones But could be less now
Bearmach do them and most aussie parts companys have accounts with them . So you could just try ordering them from them

These are bearmach ones on my brothers 90

Gives you a bit better idea how they are fitted

    Thanks for the responce.
Yes.. I'm talking about the sills like bar at both side. Will be very appreciated if your side can provide more detail
photos. Thinking of DIY on this item.
As for us in Malaysia, to order from outside country is very expensive. Rather doing it according to our own ideas.

The the front att to the front bulkhead outrigger Via the bolt. and the rear fit into the rear outrigger tube

looking forward on more detail photos on above commend.

Ok look under the side and at the front you will see an outrigger that has a bolt on the end that goes from the front to the back , just under the front door hinge area. Which holds the front bulkhead
And then under the fuel filler area , you will find an out rigger that is a tube that goes right though the chassis. On the side bars there is a bit of tube that sides down this tube and then a bolt holds it in place from the other side of the chassis
I don't have these bars on the 90 i have here so i can't take a pic for you
