crank case ventilation into the bottom of the airbox is the usual suspect.
Hi,
Did all the oils etc in the defender over the weekend, also did the air filter. it was pretty dirty after a recent trip up to the flinders ranges so I will get a new one tomorrow. There was an ammount of oil down the inside of the filter container (200 tdi) not a huge ammount and not on the actual filter, anyone have an idea as to the reason for this ? the vehicles done about 170,000km.
Turbo etc seem to be running fine, get the usual smoke on startup but not once its running.
crank case ventilation into the bottom of the airbox is the usual suspect.
