Thread: Defender injection pump

C'mon all you guys and gals too! Surely someone can tell me if a small injector pump leak needs urgent repairs? It doesn't appear to be causing any problem except the small leak. This is the wrong thread but COME BACK RON! WE NEED YOU thanks, JIM

Just checking, you mean fuel injection pump, not lift pump, right?

If lift pump it won't be a problem until you try for a really steep hill, or the next time you change the fuel filter/need to prime the system.

Or could be cracking in fuel lines to lift pump.

Fuel injection pump, you can get seals for some of it. I had one that was losing quite a lot of diesel. I ended up replacing the injection pump - long story, in the archives somewhere.
