    Transfer case mount

Hi Guys, before i left the dealer the other day they told me i had a stuffed r/h transmission mount, they only had l/h ones in stock so couldn't help me out anyway was gonna source one myself but forgot to ask them if it can be replaced in situ or do i have to drop the case out, can anyone shed some light on this who has done it before and is it a major job or simple enough for us novices??

In situ is no problems - but they can be fiddely.

Novice job, just make sure you have a nice and high trolley jack as it will make the job easier.

Ta mate will try and source one tomorrow, am at the old mans place in grafton and pretty sure he has a trolley jack for the tractor so it must be pretty big and high should do the job nicely.

Had a closer look at it and it has completely sheared through the rubber mount. doesn't look like it should have happened but hey it is a land rover

I check mine with EVERY service, they just don't last.

If you can, but Jag ones, but they are harder to find.
