Question Looking for STANDARD Michelin 235/70R16XPC tyre

    Hi Guys,

I have to get my Disco put onto NSW plates (its on VIC plates at the moment) next week and don't want to get caught out because my spare tyre is like a slick tyre......

Does anybody have a new / semi new standard Michelin M+S 105H Radial X tyre of the above size for me to buy in / around the Sydney area?

Also, where can I buy a set of Baja Claws for a 'normal' price - does not need to be new tyres. I am told that Bob Jane might do me a good deal on a set of tyres and steel rims.......

    Hope to hear from you.

    Waynep,

Thanks, I was in Melbourne yeserday..... ....

I hope that there will be somebody closer to Sydney who has got one too as I don't think I will be able to organise anything though headoffice in Port Melbourne at such short notice.

Do you want t PM me none the less with a price?

How much larger did you go and what tyre did you fit, as i am also looking at getting a second set of rims with some 'beefy' tyres of 4wheeling - I think I'll stick with the Michelins as they are near to new and I do a lot of highway driving and they seem to work pretty well for that

    Thanks,

    Auke

I have a brand new 235/70R16 Michelin XPC.

I'm in Brisbane, but I suspect it could be shipped to Sydney without too much drama.

Let me know if you have't got it sorted already.

Looks like you'll soon be sorted with someone closer.
I fitted 245/75 R16s. - nothing too radical but helps a bit with ground clearance and doesn't affect the gearing.
