I think it was Phillip A that recently had a bad " running rich" problem & cleaned the hot wire sensor with contact cleaner which apparently fixed the problem.

Try buying one from the wreckers, they seem reluctant ot sell tany second hand. I got stories about 'Oh, they arn't any good.
What A can driving ok and then is toatalled means the MAF blows up as well. Bull****

i have found in the past that a bad connection can cause all these problems, try bending the pins up a little or twisting them.

    Exclamation New? MAF??

Well I bought a "New" MAF from PartsDome on Ebay. What I got was not the one in the picture! I got what looks like a rebuild as there's no tamperproof plug on the unit, no bar code sticker or any serial numbers etc. The Disco ran great for ten Km then it's back to it's normal grumpy self, lumpy and erratic idle etc and still rich? I've written to PartsDome and I'll see what he has to say, still got the feedback option.... buyer beware.
