I'm probably not the best person to reply 'cause I've been looking for a RR project of that or earlier vintage so I'm in the potential buyer category (ie, would like to get an item as cheap as possible).

But that said, and since you had no other replies, I offer the folllowing..

You've obviously added value with the engine & drivetrain mods but on the other hand you list some shortcoming (rust)

It does seem to make a difference if it is registered

If you look at the carsales, carpoint & tradingpost sites these will give some indication of other ask prices (which I regard as a starting point for negotiation).

IMHO you may be a bit high at $6k but good luck

Mate I've been trying to sell a 93 Vogue LSE near perfect condition and no bites at 7 grand so i think a 88 with rust would be pushing the envelope at 6K

    just my thoughts

I would love your LSE for 7 grand but, too too many projects on the go at the moment.

    Hi All
Sadly $6000 might be too much might wreck it and sell the bits.

I think of the classic shape the LSE was the most sensible of them all. Only thing that would be better would be slightly more head room.

I would jump at your vehicle, but the moment you would have to take it "in-kind" a S2b Forward Control, then I could throw in a 1950 80" and maybe a 1985 RR and still you would need some thousands of dollars to go along with it.

Keep letting people know it's out there, at $7,000 its a bargain, there will be someone, just not me at present but given a few months and after Cooma, if it's still available I may be in the market.
