    security screens for defender 110

    hi everybody!
would anyone know of an aussie maker of aluminium or light steel security screens to suit the rear windows on a defender 110?
the english suppliers are quoting around $700-800 for 5 screens to cover all the glass from the rear seat back

Take a photo of what you want to an alum welding place and have them make them for you. My full length custom designed alloy roof rack cost $660. I got two quotes both the same. Security covers should be a lot cheaper, especially if you're not in a hurry and they can use off cuts from larger sheets of material to make them.

It may look pretty but I'm not sure how effective it would be.

For a start if someone wanted to they could get hooks into it and rip it off.

Secondly if you're out bush bashing it's something that can snag a tree branch and force it into your window easy enough.

Personally I preferred the interior ones, having said that they can be dislodged if you use enough force too...
