Thread: The Fixit Genie

I had the fixit Genie visit the Disco yesterday.
After my debacle with the power steering pump relief valve and stuffing it, I decided to get a replacement pump - wife was not too happy driving the disco with intermittant PS.
Anyway, picked up 2nd hand pump yesterday morning on the way to work, got home last night and wife says, "thanks for fixing the car"
The power steering is working perfectly now, took it for a drive, nothing, no noises, leaks, nothing, just power assisted steering
So, next time PS pump plays up (which it will), I will get out replacement pump and wave it at the Disco and yell
"WORK YOU BUGGER ,OR ELSE"
That'll fix it

the outboard started next pull...

LR fuel systems respond amazingly to that threat as well.
