Are you crazy ...... Keep the old girl it looks fantastic and the money you have spent you would not get back . Better off finishing it and get your moneys worth with getting it covered in mud . Not sure what size the strip is across the top of the radiator panel but can buy the strip from Four Wheel Drives - Land Rovers New and Used Spare Parts - Home

It's looking really good. A resto is always full of frustrations and unexpected expenses but when it is finished you will look back and laugh, well smile maybe.

Not many people have the patience to see it through which is why you see so many unfinished projects for sale.

One other expense that might be worth factoring in is something nice for the missus.

Yeah mate, hang on to the old girl (car not wife....err) mines the same. Its also a pain working in a confined space - or having to pull and push the thing in and out of the shed all the time. Anyway, looking real nice - great work!

    Second roof

I dunno how much difference the second skin ("Tropical Roof") make on the standard roof. On the wagon (with vents) they make a huge difference.

The windows are (at least originally) a wagon thing - you need them to see out of the second row seats. I have to admit to liking the look of no roof windows in a utility Land Rover. Someone on the REMLR pages was looking for a standard skin if you're selling - they needed it for a Topgraphical Survey vehicle.
