Fuel economy from a TD5 auto Discovery?
Has anyone any idea what is reasonable to expect in this regard?
Had a '94 Defender(manual) diesel and got around 9/10 ltrs/100 if I drove at 95-100kms. When towing a very small camper at 90kms used to go up to about 11-11.5lts/100.

I've had figures as low as 9.4, lightly loaded and cruising around 110k all the way from melb to brisbane. Average around town about 11-12. Just had the ecu flashed to give a bit of extra grunt towing my camper (about 1100kg) so cant say the new figures yet but around town seems to be little changed.
Read my thread in general chat re the new Lancruiser and you'll be smiling lol

I agree. I get anywhere from mid 9's to 11 or 12 from my TD5 auto. It makes very little differance how I drive it, it remains consistant.
