hi im rebuilding my 3.9 disco engine i have breefly looked at my block wile it was in the machine shop there are at least 3 diffrent sizes on the block alone, at least 6 around the block sides, and one larger one covering the cam at the back of the engine and smaller ones up the front 1/2 inch range. i dont have the exact sizes yet, i will have the block back in 2 weeks ill let you know if you havent got it figured out by then. if one has gone, its best to pull them all, i had an engine that looked ok, when i was rebuilt i pulled one just too look and it was badly coroaded from the inside out. i used brass plugs and they were great , i am going to use brass again. the ones i got were from supercheep and they were much better than i thought they would be.

do you know how to put them in ? i can give you some tips if you like. be carful of the info on line. there are some bad ideas going around.

    cheers. jeff.

Replace them with Irish plugs - use the green ones not the orange ones.

Yep. You won't find welsh plugs in any shop.

You might try asking for welch plugs.
