For those in and around Darwin, a very shiney 2007 YM white Defender 110 was parked on the Stuart Hway outside of the LR/Mitsub stealer early afternoon today(Monday 17 Dec). It may have been the demonstrator refered to some months ago. Looked nice but not a lot of chages were apparent from the outside. The windscreen sticker claimed 11.1L/100 km from the 2.4L donk (no sticker where the Td5/Tdi decal used to live) Quite a bit more grey plastic inside, plusher seating, large aircon vents high in the dash but NO underscreen fresh-air vents (boo). Good to see that the good old Defender is still being produced (for the time being).

Might go in for a closer look tomorrow but I'm not good around new cars....
