    After market engine management

I have a stock standard 3.5l motor in a stage1 ute,I want to instal a dual fuel setup using a standard rover system. The question is what engine managment system has the best dual mapping eg wolf, haltech etc and your reason for your preference?
    thanks pete

are you planning on converting from the twin SU's over to EFI when you get the dual fuel conversion done?

If it's carbied, why bother with an aftermarket system. Maybe add an advance system for the ignition when on LPG. (I have a brand new one sitting in the garage).

I had a Haltech system on my EFI '86 RR

I've already installed the crank trigger wheel on my 3.5L V8. I've got the sensor, coil packs and an Ford EDIS-8 to run it. The control will be done my myself with my own duel mapping etc. I didn't realise the Wolf systems worked with the coil pack setup (not that i would have used it anyway - i love a challenge ). Another option is the DIY 'Megasquirt' and 'Megajolt' setups.

There is a lot of megajolt info at:

I got my trigger wheel etc from (gotta ship it from the UK so get the coil packs locally to save on weight):

Hi Mate, i got my trigger wheel and pickup brakect from trigger wheels too. I got the ecu, coil packs, ingnitors and software from flebay. I wanted to use the wolf because although i'l be running wasted spark i will be able to go full sequencial with the fuel. I think this should help inprove torque and fuel burn and hopefully improve fuel consumption. I love diy as well. I've got an wide band afr meter that i built to tune it with
