Arrow Trolley Jack - recommendations wanted !

I am after a good quality trolley jack - for use with Defender and Range Rover so obvioulsy must fit under the diff of a rangie on road tyres.

Am looking for the maximum in travel (height) that I can get.
Must have a good safe load bearing capacity of course.

What should I be looking at on the side of the box as far as these measurements are concerned ?

    Can anyone recommend -
    brand ?
    model ?
    where to buy ?

    I'm in Brisbane (north)

    Cheers.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Hey Vlad
I bought a 1.5t trolley jack from super cheap which while it has worked fine is to low rated i really should have bought one rated at 3.5t at least. So i am going to buy another one since santa didn't realise I wanted it

any decent 2.5t jack should be fine.......

ive got one which is "royal" brand......have had it for over 15 years now.....
in that time......all it ever needed was one seal.......

    its still going strong.......

and a decent jack should cost around $150 to $200........

I bought a big 2000KG LIFTECH garage Jack from Power Lift
16 Paisley Drive LAWNTON QLD 4501

It is very heavy, but it has a lift that is so high, it reaches the extent of my 4000kg car stands.

Great for zipping under vehicles on a back trolley with heaps of room for rotund guts

I got one from TradeTools. Around $150 for a 2000kg or 3000kg (can't remember) trolley jack.

I love it as it speeds up the process of getting the axle stands under the vehicle to only a few seconds.

Several years ago I bought an Armstrong 2500kg. Cost under $200. Best thing you can do is buy something decent (workshop qaulity) and avoid the cheapies. That way it will last for years and work well.

A very good point, worth repeating. If you don't have axle stands you will probably find a good deal with some axle stands and a workshop trolley jack.
