apparently the dealers can completely flush the system using their software,, something to do with the ABS,,

you can do it the old fashioned way and just drain untill the colour changes,,,

Question I've been meaning to ask too. Should you just do the standard bleed of the brakes or are you better doing a system bleed?

I realise the system bleed is only there for clearing the modulator block of air, but what is the best practice?

Alan - brake bleeding is p1075 on RAVE CD for D2

The best way is to do a power bleed, which includes doing the standard way as well as bleeding the ABS modulator. Something that is important to the life of the modulator as well being done only by someone who has the diagnostic tool. T4, IDS,WDS etc.. Dealer, or LR workshop.

This Should be done as part of the 40k km service anyway..its in the schedule.

Sniegy, I can do this with Rovacom can you get me more details perhaps on what the correct power bleed procedure is?
Do you need to repeat the bleed process Front-left, Front-right, Rear-Left, Rear-right or do you just let it bleed through one unit then do a standard bleed?
