ABS problems with D1's. Usually consist of wheel sensor failures. There can be excess air gap problems, but this can be easily resolved by pushing the sensors in to contact the sensor ring. (Usually caused by excessive wheel bearing endfloat)
The other less commoin faults involve brake switch failure,(Happens to non ABS ones too you know!) and minor electrical faults involving dirt in the modulator connectors etc.

Wheel sensors are around $450 each side front, and rear as a pair is about $800 to $1000.

The SRS system can sometimes throw up a fault due to the rotary coupling behind the steering wheel failing, a short to earth in the dash loom, or failure of the check resistor in the loom. ($$$ to fix)

I have had D1's in where the seller has removed the globe from their anti lock warning lamp on the dash, and one where they had removed the SRS fuse to stop the lamp illuminating so they could sell the vehicle

Both were private sales so no comeback

(One did receive a VISIT from the purchaser...)

Get it checked out before you buy (I'm assuming this was a pre-purchase Q?) by someone who knows these systems and can check them for logged faults electronically.
