    tie rod

    i have bent my tie rod and steering damper, makes things a little shaky..
    has anyone used the snake racing version, or can recommend a good after market job..

    ps. im driving a series 1 disco, soon to have 34 inch tyres

    Contact Mal. Leslie at S.G.Leslie & Sons, 19 Mologa Rd. West Heidelberg 3081. 'phome 03 9459 2859. Mal makes severe service tie rods for all 4WD's. He bought taps and dies from me specifically for LR/RR.

    i upgraded the rear rod but have kept the front standard, some say its better to bend than damage the steering box....not that i have heard of anybody damaging there steering box by using heavy duty front tie rod

    i carry a spare tie rod in the car complete with tie rod end
